Merrell Shoe Size Chart: US, UK, EU & Foot Length Guide (Men, Women & Kids)

Merrell Men’s Shoe Size Chart (US, UK, EU, JP)

This is Merrell’s men’s shoe chart from US 7 to 16. The JP column is the shoe size in centimeters. Merrell’s chart also lists the women’s size that matches each men’s size, which is always 1.5 higher, for example men’s 9 and women’s 10.5.

Merrell Women’s Shoe Size Chart (US, UK, EU, JP)

This is Merrell’s women’s shoe chart from US 5 to 11.5. Merrell’s own chart shows that a women’s size converts to a men’s size 1.5 lower: women’s 8 is men’s 6.5. For the general rule, see our men’s to women’s conversion chart.

Merrell Unisex Shoe Size Chart (US, UK, EU, cm)

Merrell says unisex sizing runs as men’s sizing. The women’s column shows the women’s size that matches each unisex size. Merrell’s guidance for women is to pick a unisex size one and a half sizes smaller than your normal US women’s size, and its example is unisex 7 = men’s 7 = women’s 8.5.

How to Measure Your Foot for Merrell

Merrell’s size chart page does not include measuring steps, so here is the standard method. Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, mark your longest toe, and measure in centimeters from the wall to the mark. Do this for both feet and use the longer one, preferably in the afternoon when feet are largest. Then compare the result with the cm column on the unisex or kids’ chart, and leave a little room for your toes. Our how to measure foot size at home guide covers each step.

Do Merrell Shoes Run True to Size?

Merrell does not publish a true to size rating, and its size chart does not mention width options, so we cannot give you an official one. What it does publish is a clear conversion rule: unisex shoes run as men’s sizes, so women should go one and a half sizes down. If you are between sizes or have wide feet, check the specific model page and try the shoe on, because fit changes across Merrell lines. See our shoe width guide for how width letters work, and our best Merrell walking shoes for women for model ideas.

Men’s vs Women’s Merrell Sizes

Merrell’s chart pairs each men’s size with a women’s size 1.5 higher on the same row. That means men’s 8.5 equals women’s 10, and men’s 9 equals women’s 10.5. Merrell’s women’s shoe table starts at US 5 and ends at 11.5, so larger women’s sizes are covered by buying unisex. Our women’s shoe size chart and men’s shoe size chart give the general numbers.

Merrell Kids’ Shoe Size Chart

Merrell’s kids’ chart runs from US toddler size 1 to big kid size 7. US sizes 1 to 3 appear twice because Merrell lists the toddler range and the big kid range with the same numbers, so use the UK, EU and cm columns to tell them apart. Measure your child’s foot standing, heel to longest toe, and check again every few months. For general kids’ numbers see our kids’ shoe size chart.

Comparing Merrell With Other Brands

Do not copy a size from another brand without checking that brand’s chart. If you also wear Salomon, HOKA, Altra or New Balance, start from your measured foot length and read across to Merrell’s chart.
