This chart combines Clarks’ US women’s guide (US, UK and foot length in inches) with its UK guide (Clarks EU and foot length in millimeters). The two guides round the foot length slightly differently, so the inch and centimeter values can differ by a hair. Clarks Width Fittings Explained

Clarks sells many styles in more than one width, and the letters depend on the group. On Clarks’ US guide, women’s widths are C (narrow), D (standard), E (wide) and EE (extra wide), and men’s widths are G (medium), H (wide) and XW (extra wide). On Clarks’ UK guide, the children’s chart uses E (narrow), F (standard), G (wide) and H (extra wide), so the same letter can mean different things for adults and children. How to Measure Your Foot for Clarks

Clarks’ UK guide gives these steps: measure both feet and note the longer one, stand with your heel against a straight edge, hold a ruler alongside the foot, and measure in millimeters from the heel to the tip of your longest toe (it may not be the big toe). Clarks’ US guide adds that you should try shoes on later in the day, wear the socks you plan to use, and make sure the heel is snug so it does not slip. Do Clarks Shoes Run True to Size?

Clarks does not publish a true to size rating on its fit guides, so we cannot give you an official one. What it does publish is foot length for each size, half sizes in every range, and fit advice: try shoes on later in the day, consider sizing up slightly if your feet swell, and check each brand’s own chart because sizing varies between brands. If you need more room, the width letter is usually a better fix than a longer size.

Clarks EU Sizes vs Standard EU

Clarks’ UK guide lists two EU columns: Clarks EU and a standard EU size. They match for many sizes but differ by half a size for others. For example, UK 3 is Clarks EU 35.5 but standard EU 36, and UK 5.5 is Clarks EU 39 but standard EU 38.5. This page uses the Clarks EU column, because that is what Clarks prints for its own shoes. Clarks Children’s Size Chart

Clarks’ UK guide lists children’s sizes from UK 2 to 13.5 and then UK 1 to 10, with the Clarks EU size and the foot length each size fits. The repeated numbers belong to the younger and older ranges, so use the EU and foot length columns to tell them apart. The children’s chart has no US column.
